Well it is official!!

I was at City Hall bright and early this morning with my campaign manager Darrell to officially register as a candidate for Mayor of Louisiana! We love our town and simply want what is best for it and her residents. We need to foster community pride, respect one another and come together to make our town a great place to live, work and play.

I’m looking forward to meeting voters in the coming months. I want to hear your thoughts and concerns; and I’ll share mine freely. Will we always agree? Not a chance, but we can sure agree to disagree on things and be civil and respectful when we do! I’ll promise that to everyone right up front!

There will be tough decisions to make going forward but I’m seeking out resources I, and the council can use to make sure we do the right thing for our city government and those we represent. We MUST make informed, educated decisions. Staff and administration HAVE to be trained appropriately to ensure we are following proper operating procedures, legal guidelines and laws.
