Let’s Show out this Election Day! Break turnout records!

My campaign group pulled County records from the April 2022 Mayoral Election. While turnout was decent, it sure could be improved upon! Let’s do better this time around Louisiana!!

Ward 1 shows a 35% turnout, only 182 people out of 512 registered voters made it to the polls.

Ward 2 had under 24%, just 119 out of the 500 people registered visited the polls.

Ward 3 there were 177 people making the choice for Mayor out of 475, 37%

Ward 4, out of 503 registered voters, 198 made the decision for representation or 39%.

If you didn’t get to vote and weren’t happy with the results, then make this the year you make it a point to voice your opinion! Get to the polls. If you voted, THANK YOU, do it again and bring a friend!

Wards 1 & 2 (aka B&C on County Clerks records) vote at the Elks Lodge 120 N 5th Street.

Wards 3 & 4 (aka D&C on County Clerks records) vote at the American Legion 420 Kelly Ln.

Polls are open from 6am-7pm.
