I met with Representative Chad Perkins

I had a great visit with State Representative Chad Perkins yesterday. He shared some leads for great resources our community could be using. I’ve made good notes and will certainly call about our partners in State Government to assist my team at City Hall as Mayor! He offered a wide range of suggestions related to Economic Development, Tourism and funding; all of which I have outlined as areas of concern I intend to address as Mayor of Louisiana!

He agrees that Louisiana is a unique community with great people. Our unique landscape, proximity to the river and historic culture give us a leg up on other communities struggling to find an identity in rural Missouri. Finding the formula to of resources, manpower, idea implementation and management will be where the work lies and I’m ready for the task as I know many of you are! I’ve heard from so many who are willing to be boots on the ground in some shape or form that I’m optimistic for the future of Louisiana and the future of our residents!
